Voice AI to Enhance the Patient and Client Experience

AI isn’t going anywhere however you feel about it.

So embrace it as what’s the alternative.

Small businesses that ignore AI are doomed to die a slow death. It’s inevitable. The businesses that embrace it will be able to work faster and smarter. And they’ll be way ahead of those that do not use AI.

Will it replace humans?

No, absolutely not. In fact, human customer service will become more prized and will lift you above the businesses that use purely Voice AI. And it’s Voice AI I’m going to be talking about today.

Voice AI has come on in leaps and bounds from the staccato robotic voice of probably only last year. Now it can be difficult to distinguish Voice AI from a ‘real’ person. Of course, it still has its limitations, but what it will do is enhance your customer service big time.

Imagine a new customer ringing you at 10pm to make an appointment. They’re in full-on buying mode and have money to spend. What happens now? I bet they reach a voicemail that you will call them back the next day.

Imagine that same customer ringing at 10pm to make an appointment (or sending a WhatsApp). Now imagine that they reach VoiceAI that asks them when they would like the appointment, who they’d like it with and asks for all of their information, books it and sends confirmation.

Amazing hey?

And that’s the way things are heading. The system we work with only integrates with Cliniko, Nookal and Practice Hub currently but this will expand rapidly when the other systems sort out their APIs.

If someone is happy to wait for a call-back the next day, they can still leave a message as normal. And during the day the ‘humans’ are there to give that amazing customer experience as normal.

Please don’t be the business that’s ignoring AI – embrace it and have a bit of fun with it too.
